The Navagation Acts were established by the British government in 1650. They were established to make sure all the exports coming out of the British Colonies were being shipped to England, and no other countries. Therefore, it doesn't allow the British Colonies to recieve any goods imported from other countries, like Africa, and South America. This made it so the colonies could only ship out non-finished items, like food, lumber, and metal, and they could only recieve finished items, like clothing, mattresses, and paper. This limited the colonists trade, and was starting to aggravate them, adding to the start of the revolutionary war.
